August 27th, 2012Fire crews from Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Concord responded to a fire in a single story house at 1851 Florence Ln. Concord at 1:23am on Monday, August 27th. The first arriving engine company reported a totally involved garage with possible rescue for the occupants of the involved home.
Crews searched the structure for occupants and found all occupants had exited the structure. Crews attacked the fire and were able to contain it to the garage, limiting damage and property loss. The fire was knocked down in approximately 20 minutos, however fire crews remained on the scene for over two hours performing overhaul and salvage of the structure and its contents.
The cause of the fire was accidental. No damage estimates were immediately available. There were no injuries to residents or fire personnel. The American Red Cross provided temporary housing assistance for four displaced adult occupants.
